If the stunning views of The Remarkables don't grab you, then the magnificent views of Lake Wakatipu will. We are conveniently located between the airport (ZQN) and downtown Queenstown.
Have a look around, we have some links to the many activities in the Southern lakes and Queenstown districts. Wakatipu Hideaway is an ideal spot to base yourself for a week or two or even a month, as you experience all that the New Zealand "Mainland" has to offer.

The resort boasts a range of activities second to none (we have some suggestions, here). Experience the Wine Trails and taste award-winning wines from the world's most southern vineyards. Head into town and sample the delights on offer in the many shops, cafes and restaurants. As night falls, get ready to experience the resort's buzzing nightlife. Queenstown also offers relaxation at its best. Venture out and visit the Arrowtown Museum, a superb boutique museum, then explore the Wakatipu Art Trail or base yourself at Wakatipu Hideaway for one of the many New Zealand Great Walks. Whatever you decide to do, any time of the year, we know you will enjoy Queenstown and everything the Wakatipu has to offer.
